Sleeplessness and Weight Gain are connected
Hormones Leptin and Ghrelin are the key, they are produced within the body, their levels are based on life styles. Sleeplessness or irregular sleep patterns tend to over-stimulate Ghrelin which triggers false hunger and also reduces the other hormone Leptin which is basically an appetite suppressant thereby it aggravates the false triggering further for food when the body really don't require that food.
Body requires normally 6 to 8 hours of good sleep for proper hormone balance.
Drinking water, toxins and detoxification
Toxins can block the cell nutrition obsorption and prone them to false signaling for more food intake. But more food intake will not help, as toxins blocking the cell obsorption. Thereby people tend to take more and more food but still remain starving. These unobsorbed excess calories turn into fat and increase the body weight.
